Corvis® ST

Product Code.             : VM-OC-03

Features

1. CORVIS (Corneal Visualization Scheimpflug Technology) uses an ultra-high-speed Scheimpflug camera capturing over 4,330 images per second to precisely record the corneal response to a defined air pulse, enabling accurate measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP) and corneal thickness.
2. Provides advanced diagnostic assessment of corneal biomechanical response, tonometry, and pachymetry with high clinical precision.
3. Utilizes a UV-free 455 nm blue LED light source, ensuring safe and reliable illumination during measurement.
4. Biomechanically Corrected IOP (bIOP) delivers more accurate and easily interpretable IOP measurements by minimizing dependence on corneal thickness and biomechanical properties. The correction accounts for corneal thickness, age, and biomechanical response, and is not influenced by the tear film.
5.The software is fully upgradeable, allowing access to enhanced features and future advancements.
6.The Tomographic Biomechanical Index (TBI) is derived using an artificial intelligence–based approach to enhance the accuracy of corneal ectasia detection.
7. Corvis® ST is used in glaucoma diagnostics to measure intraocular pressure (IOP), corneal thickness, and corneal deformation response, enabling determination of an IOP value that is minimally influenced by corneal biomechanical properties.
8. It enables visualization of the effects of corneal cross-linking and supports quantitative assessment of changes in corneal biomechanical properties following treatment.
9. Includes an advanced communication feature that allows intraocular pressure and corneal thickness data, along with high-speed examination videos, to be emailed directly to the patient’s mobile device, with integrated follow-up examination reminders.
