Position : Medical Sales Officer

Responsibilities

1. Organizing appointments and meetings with the community- and hospital-based healthcare staff.
2. Identifying and establishing new businesses.
3. Assessing clients needs and present suitable promoted products.
4. Liaising with and persuading targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective sales skills.
5. Providing product information and deliver product samples.
6. Negotiating contracts.
7. Demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists.
8. Meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals.
9. Maintaining detailed records and keeping records of sales and customers.
10. Attending and organizing trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
11. Reviewing sales performance.
12. Persuading clients to buy your company’s products.
13. Providing an after-sales service.
14. Reporting information back to head office about customer needs.
15. Writing reports and other documents.

Job Requirements

1. B.Sc / B.Pharm / Bachelors degree in the relevant field.
2. Proven work experience as a pharmaceutical representative or in medical sales.
3. Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and the latest medical issues.
4. Knowledge of MS Office.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
6. Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
