Responsibilities
Installs new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance.
Maintains equipment by performing maintenance schedules, conducting tests, and troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions.
Perform special equipment service, evaluate service contracts, and maintain equipment inventories.
Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety tests, recommending and complying with procedures, training and guiding medical and healthcare personnel, and complying with codes.
Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing advance orders, and verifying receipts.
Improves equipment performance by studying machine-patient interaction, discussing with equipment users, developing modifications, and collaborating with manufacturers.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in the related field. Experience in Ophthalmology will be an added advantage.
Must have a two-wheeler and a license
Excellent presentation and people skills.
Willing to travel and work all over Nepal.
Dynamic, Self-motivated, positive, polite, willing to learn.
Ability to handle pressure and can adapt accordingly.
Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment.
